About the Retreat

Reconnecting Body, Breath, and Mind

Within each of us is a natural capacity for peace, love, ease, and joy. Often, our busy modern lives block us from experiencing our true nature. We move from task to task, often disconnected from the subtle signals of the body until tension or exhaustion demands our attention.

At our Embodied Presence retreat, daily sessions of Kum Nye, pronounced koom nyay—Tibetan Yoga, chanting, and meditation—will help us experience our non-dualistic nature and expand our natural capacity for healing, peace, love, and compassion. We will spend four and a half days settling into deeper sensitivity and awareness of our minds, bodies, feelings, and sensations.

Kum Nye offers gentle, skillful methods to bring our bodies, breath, and minds into harmony, uncovering the vitality and wisdom that uplifts the human spirit. A copy of Tarthang Tulku Rinpoche’s book “Kum Nye – Tibetan Yoga” is included in the course fees and will be given to each participant at the retreat.

This is an in-person only program and will not be recorded.
