Women Warriors for Peace

We are a group of women who meet on a weekly basis to study the dharma and meditate together. We first connected during a 12-week Namchak “Connection Despite Distance” course, and we have been together as a Circle ever since. We have developed lovely connections with one another and very much enjoy our weekly Circles.

Austin Dharma Sangha

The Austin Dharma Sangha is a meditation and learning circle located in the Texas Hill Country. Austin is a vibrant and creative city with many spiritual opportunities. We are forming a community around the Namchak lineage using in-person events, Zoom, videos, ecourses, readings and special guests. We are an open group who are currently meeting on Zoom with the possibility of meeting in-person at some point in the near future.

We will come together in person to learn and grow as a community, to find our own paths, and to become one with ourselves and the world. We will learn from the Namchak values and inspiration. This Circle will help to bring a little peace and understanding to the military community not too far from where we’re at here in junction City, Kansas. Waves of Transition Learning Circle

Fords Namchak Learning Circle

Are you looking for a way to connect with like-minded individuals and get into a regular meditation practice to relieve stress and be more mindful? Do you have a deep yearning to know more about the real meaning of our daily lives? If you answered yes to either of these two questions, this group is for you.

This is a secular group open to all. For purposes of a structure, we will use fundamental concepts from Tibetan Buddhist teaching, specifically the Namchak lineage to learn and practice meditation. A typical event will consist of shared activities where we learn and practice in a spirit of togetherness. Shared activities typically include a check-in with each member on the past week, a discussion on a book that we have read as a group, and meditation. All members are welcome to contribute ideas for our common good.

The Missoula Learning Circle

Our meetings are free and open to all. The general structure of each gathering starts with a meditation, followed by check-ins and a discussion about our practices and everyday life. We come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. All are welcome – including all levels of experience with practice. This is a community based, Tibetan Buddhism focused, meditation group open to all UM college students. We meet at the home of one of the members, sharing tea and snacks and building Sangha, followed by a meditation and discussion of experiences. The structure is relaxed, and all ideas are welcomed. Temple University Learning Circle

Our Learning Circle is open to all Temple University students, regardless of experience level with meditation. We meet to connect, learn, experience, and reflect together. The general structure of our meetings begins with a check-in & intention-setting, followed by the review of content to learn from (readings, videos, recordings), partnering & discussion, meditation, and group reflection.

Our group focuses on learning and deepening meditation techniques & practices to relate them to real-life experiences, aiming to move the wisdom discussed into action to serve the lives of others (and ourselves)! We enjoy engaging in conversation centering around exploring ourselves, our ideas, and the practices, as well as the areas in which they might intersect.

Giving Shelter Learning Circle

We are residents of Santa Clara County living under a Shelter-In-Place directive. We will revisit the time, day, and platform for meeting when the Shelter-In-Place directive ends.

Our Learning Circle is open to all Namchak students; however, we’d especially appreciate folks who live close enough to be able to meet in person at least once every quarter.

Our mission is to practice the Dharma together, create Sangha, and to support and encourage each other’s spiritual practice.

The structure of our gatherings are as follows: start with a check in, followed by an inspiring reading, then, a Namchak meditation. We end with another check in and then rotate roles (facilitator, chooser/reader of inspiring words, and time keeper) for the next meeting.

San Francisco Learning Circle

The San Francisco Learning Circle consists of young professionals between the ages of 23-30, but we are open to all. At each meeting, one or two members researches a topic revolving around Tibetan Buddhist meditation practices and then facilitates a group discussion.
