Engage with Sangwa Yeshe Practice and Prepare for Drupchod

Dive into the sacred rituals of Vajrayana Buddhism with a trusted guide—Esteemed teacher Dorlop Choenyi Sangmo will lead participants through an in-depth, hands-on introduction to essential elements of Vajrayana ritual practice. Through this course, participants are guided in both study and experience to deepen their understanding of practice and rituals. With instruction and practical application, participants will gain enriching insight and skills for their personal practice and support ritual ceremonies within their sangha. This retreat prepares students for deeper engagement with Sangwa Yeshe practice and will serve as preparation for Drupchod. Though the teachings could be applied to most Nyingma practices, they will be taught from the Namchak lineage perspective.

TIERED PRICING SYSTEM

We offer a tiered pricing system for retreat registration. These prices reflect either in-person or online attendance. For in-person attendance, the prices include shuttle costs, lodging, three meals a day, and teaching expenses. If you would like to stay for the two additional days of silence, you can choose that option as an “add-on” when you check out.

Supported: The community will supplement this reduced fee for those with limited financial resources who will benefit from participating in the Fundamentals of Tibetan Ritual Arts retreat.

Suggested: For those with sufficient financial resources who can pay fair value for the experience.

Who is this Retreat for?

This retreat is designed for practitioners who have taken Refuge Vows and are interested in deepening their understanding of Tibetan ritual arts.

This retreat is particularly suited for practitioners preparing for Drupchod, as well as Sangwa Yeshe practitioners who wish to deepen their understanding of the specific mudras, musical elements, and shrine setup that enhance their practice. It also welcomes sangha members who aspire to support group rituals and students with foundational knowledge of Vajrayana practices who are ready to integrate ritual arts more fully into their personal or collective practice.
