About the Book

In this modern world, what are some tangible ways we can embody deep peace while working to overcome the epidemic of fear, anxiety, and loneliness that is widespread? How can we live with more joy, empathy, and love while creating a more peaceful planet for ourselves and others? In the third book of the Ancient Wisdom for Our Times series, Lama Tsomo brings together meditation practices and Buddhist teachings to act as an antidote for the crisis of our present times.

Deepening Wisdom, Deepening Connection, is a guide for those of us seeking to experience more present, fulfilling relationships with ourselves and others. Readers will learn time-tested techniques for developing intrinsic capacities for Loving-Kindness, Compassion, Sympathetic Joy, and Equanimity (boundless affection for all), qualities which make being human such an invaluable and precious experience.

In this book, Lama Tsomo distills essential Tibetan Buddhist concepts and practices that will help strengthen our own meditation practice and guide us to living with more discernment, tenderness, and care.  This book is for anyone who is interested in deepening on the spiritual path or is called towards being a changemaker for truth, equality, and wisdom.

Dive Deeper

Deepening Wisdom, Deepening Connection is the third book of the Ancient Wisdom for Our Times Series. However, readers do not need to have read books one or two before picking up book three. If you have experience meditating or are interested in the Buddhist path, this book shares teachings and concepts in an accessible manner with Lama Tsomo’s signature comedic flare and humor.

This book was designed to share the what and how of the notable Four Immeasurables or Boundless Qualities, teachings that the Buddha thought essential for opening up our hearts and living a life of deep joy.

Lama Tsomo weaves together other key elements for deepening on the path, including the power of forgiveness and the six Paramitas. An essential read, you can pre order your copy today, and if you’re interested in ordering copies for your organization, classroom, or simply your living room table, reach out to info@namchak.org with any questions.
